youth club in Coventry was before the Beatles split … !!

put it like this, my first public performance, all-be-it unpaid at a
youth club in Coventry was before the Beatles split … !!
In the very early days I played everything from Irish show bands
to psychedelic rock operas but my perseverance was eventually
rewarded when I was invited to join, what was at the time
one of the country’s top blues bands, Tuxedo Junction. We gigged
and toured extensively in this Country and Europe, regularly playing
venues like the Marquee In London, headlining in our own right
as well as supporting the likes of John Mayall and Fleetwood Mac.
Since those distant heady days I’ve had stints with the likes of
Peppermint Kreem, Sidewinder and The Dezerters, but here I
am, still pluckin’ those 4 fat strings with Rock N Ruin.
